Space Exploration, Rocketry, and Astronomy STEM Outreach Program (Jan 7)

Event Location : Nielsen Physics Building, 1408 Circle Dr, Knoxville, TN 37916 on UTK Campus

Date: January 7th Free Parking in White Ave. Lot  G13 on UTK Campus

Time: 10 AM to 5 PM with an hour for lunch (not provided)

Sign in at 9:30 AM, Rocket Launching might run long

Recommended Age Range: Advanced Middle School Students and High School Students

Schedule:

9:30-10:00AM Signin

10:00-11:00AM Rocket Assembly

11:00AM-12:00PM Session 1 Rocket Science

12:00-1:00PM Lunch

2:00-3:45PM Session 2 Astronomy

3:45-4:30 Session 3 Rocketry and Safety

4:30-5:10PM (Weather Permitting) Launch (Not to be confused with lunch)

If there is rail we will hold three launch times the following Tuesday Jan 8th at 5-5:30 PM to not interfere with classes.
